About the Area

The cottage is located in quiet countryside near Es Carritxo in the south east corner of Mallorca. Each morning you can enjoy breakfast on the terrace taking in the panoramic views towards the fourteenth century Castell de Santueri.

The nearest village is Es Carritxo, a three minute drive, where the bar provides refreshments, ice cream, crisps and sandwiches. For more substantial provisions the village of Cas Concos - a five minute drive away - provides two small supermarkets, baker, newsagent, bank, chemist and four restaurants.
Cala D' or is a ten minute drive. The pedestrianised centre and marina has numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes. Seven coves surround Cala D' Or plus many others a short drive away.

Market at Felanitx

 

Felanitx, the largest town in the area, is very Spanish, but every Sunday morning holds a market near the Church of San Miguel. Later you can enjoy live music and coffee served in the main square.
